RAMANATH IYER & CO. is a firm of Cost Accountants in practice and has been in existence since 1978. It was founded by Late Shri A.R. Ramanathan, a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Shri A.R. Ramanathan worked as a lecturer in the Shriram College of Commerce (1967-77) and started practice as a Cost Accountant in 1978.
Shri A.R. Ramanathan was subsequently selected as a Member of Company Law Board. After holding this post for over 7 years, he was selected as one of the first Member of the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission. On retirement, Shri A.R. Ramanathan was actively involved in the various activities of the firm as Partner.
